Eastern Blue-Tongued Lizard (Tiliqua Scincoides)
Originally uploaded by plakboek. Eastern blue-tongued lizard discovered walking through the backyard. This is the largest member of the skink family and is very well known for its long, bright blue tongue. Baby blue-tongues are born fully formed and do not hatch from eggs. They can live for more than 20 years, reaching over 50cm in length. They are native to Australia.
