Ubuntu desktop images
Whilst some may tweak and fiddle with their desktop background, I rather like my default Ubuntu desktop 'Dawn of Ubuntu' background wallpaper and theme. It is great to see the collective efforts of the Ubuntu artwork team assemble this for all the different distributions.
I was interested to read from this blog report and this post that photographs posted by some Flickr users were used to create some of the computer desktop backgrounds for Microsoft Vista.
I am leagues away from being a digital, image processing professional but I have some photographs that I could work into a desktop background. Now wouldn't it be nice to customise these into a set of open source images for Ubuntu. :-)
