so, just finished the seventh harry potter book again. FABULOUS. i really really like that book, easily the best craftsmanship out of rowling, if not the best plot but she is really able to move the readers in that book so much more than in the other books... i also watched the 6th movie last night. they left out some pretty important stuff in that movie, like what the rest of the horcruxes might be and why they are in their various locations, etc etc. i am curious as to how the 7th movie is going to cover those gaps because SO MUCH of what they did was based on the snippits of knowledge harry gained in those earlier pensieve visits. also, i felt the like 7th book ends very abruptly after the fight. i mean, duel, harry wins, he slips off, tells ron and hermoine what happened, end book. i would have prefered a little more falling action and closing, personally, because the epilogue doesnt really sum it all up. lets you know who marries who blah blah briefly but you dont get to know where harry lives the re-unions with other people... ginny primarily, i dont know... but on the other hand it would have seemed very pointless just going on about that stuff since there would have been zero stuff to drive the plot it would have been like the end to the lord of the rings, where it seems to end 19 times before it really does... but perhaps a bit more could have been fleshed out, thats all im sayin... remarkable book though :-)
wonder what i'll read next...
