*Exhale*

Well,it's been a very busy past few weeks! Working rather stressful shifts, missing meals, not getting enough sleep, finishing christmas pressie shopping and almost turning into a zombie....I began to feel like I couldn't hear myself think, let alone live. I had a goal, to reach 5pm on thursday, and then my work shifts would officially be over...and they are, for now :-)
I've been grateful for the £ that I've now earned in this time period...so to be fair, I shouldn't really complain too much. I think I'd lulled me into thinking I'd be off the week before christmas, and 'agreeing' to work these shifts came as a 'shock'....but like I always say, it's all experience.

Sooooooo,...I guess I'm now on holiday- yay! I've been attending my church's christmas passion play, and it's been great each night!! Took some 'friends'...more acquaintances really, to one of them, and I believe they were quite moved- praise God for seed sown.

I'm now getting into gear for packing and tidying and all the things I need to sort before I fly to London to spend the next 2 weeks with my family. Incidentally, my flight has been cancelled due to the fog affecting certain airports at the moment in England. So,...I guess I'll get there at some point...no stress.

I'm going to miss my flat...and my car...and obviously my friends and church too. Not sure I'll have internet access when I get there, so I might not be posting here again till 2007!

On a different note entirely,....has anyone else had the wonderful experience of listening to the Narnia series on audio tape???? I've recently had the pleasure of it (not finished them all yet), and I LOVE them!!!! The narrator- Sir Michael Hordern is great, and I love the harp & flute soundtrack music, especially the theme tune that is played whenever Aslan appears or is mentioned. The beauty of these stories is totally coming alive to me...I read the books when I was ~8/9 yrs old...wasn't saved yet either, so they were just lovely stories. But now, it's just so rich with meaning........
I'm ever grateful to one of my best friends for lending them to me :-)

I daresay this must be my longest post ever....I do go on abit when I'm tired.
Happy Holidays to everyone, have a blessed christmas time!!!
