Another year passes...
Well, I'm online, at an internet cafe in London 'cos the broadband connection in my parent's home isn't operational as yet.
It's been an interesting time here, and particularly 2 days ago when my parents and I went to Barcelona...for the day! It was my present to them and it was great fun! It's a beautiful city and I think I'm definitely going back there for a longer break,...beautiful.
But,it's almost 2007 and in keeping with tradition, I'm doing some reflecting.2006 has been a year that I won't forget (so what else is new?). Seriously though, I've learnt alot this year. Not just at work, but spiritually. I've made some new friends, some old friendships have deepened, and sadly some have caused heartache...but the Good Lord weaves all things into His chosen pattern.
I get rather emotional and can think too much about things....partly 'cos I don't forget very much of what occurs around me and what I'm exposed to...hence looking back in detail at a passing year can be slightly hazardous :-) So,..without much ado, I'm grateful to God for the experiences and memories, and mostly for the fact that I love Him more than I did this time last year.And for the amazingness of His interest in the 'little' things of my life...and His unending faithfulness!!!
For 2007,...I don't know what it'll hold, but I know that He will be with me, each day, come what may....and that'll always be enough.
