The passing of time..
It's been awhile since my last update here.....been majorly busy and not really in the 'mood' to write. But before too much stuff accumulates, I want to note afew rather notable events.
Firstly, it's official.....I've definitely got a job in Glasgow!!!!! Will be working in the Western Infirmary from the 1st August. (should ideally be in the west coast for the next 6 years)
I truly thank God for making it all work out.....I was all ready in my heart to move to Aberdeen, but He changed it all, and I'm trusting His direction and leading.
Can't believe my 6 months in Perth is almost at an end! It has gone so quickly, and I've definitely enjoyed being there. My colleagues have been fun to work with and some of my consultants have been a blessing in my life.
Good memories....and on a professional note, I've learnt alot!!!
This week will be spent doing final studying and sitting the part 2 of my Membership exams. Alas, I do not feel as prepared as I ought to be...I will do my best....and if I have to resit them in December, then so be it.
Last week was a busy one, and I was glad to make it through to 2 of the evening services at my church camp in Gartmore. They were blessed occasions and indeed God has moved mightily in the midst of His people - blessed be His Name!
This coming week, there's a large group of the youth going to take part in the Mission in Neath, Wales. Alas, I shall not be there this year....but I shall be carrying them in my heart, in prayer. Can't wait to hear of what God will do there this week....it'll be awesome, and to His glory!
So much going on within me,.....sometimes feeling like I'm abit overwhelmed....but always comes to mind the fact that my Lord is near, and He will not forsake me. And so, in the midst of all the activity and change (within and without), I am looking to Him and pressing on.
