feeling antsy lately... like i cannot do enough.

Things are coming along nicely on the Wright Play project. Completed my rough cut today. Hope to tweak audio and clean up cuts this weekend, in addition to finding a successful de-echoing filter.

I called my mom, we will be hanging out at a fancy place for her 50th birthday.

Took on a job today, no pay... but really cool project. I will be shooting a glass installation for Harue Shimomoto. It's a really cool exhibit that involves walking around, so the view of it is ideally a moving, surrounding experience. I will be borrowing Tim's HVX and crane and dolly system. Would be nice to get a wide angle lens/fish eye to get the 'surrounding' feeling. Will have to refresh memory on firestore use, as it's been a while. will have to find a computer souped up enough to allow HD workflow.

It is nice to make a new contact through recommendation. She's from Japan, and we talked easily about the project and about culture.

Work on the doc is coming along as well, Sarah and I are finalizing our proposal tomorrow, talking theory, talking shop, setting up the blog and starting to contact our 'guides'. Will be good. I like having creative projects on the back burner. Gives me something to think about. I spend most of my Overture time reading about Mma Ramostwe and Botswana, which are great things to read about.
