Yuui had attended the trail, hoping that his efforts to butter up the judge and get a ruling in their favor would work. The small bit of hope that he had was quickly fading as the trail when on, letting him see that no matter what happened they were going to kill Kurogane. To him it just seemed like they wanted to kill someone and were just using the first person to come to mind ( ... )

Fay had no idea what the hell he was doing. He had never had any idea what he was doing. Still, he snuck in between people with his little disguise until he was as close as he needed to be to the front. Why was it Kurogane got extra security when he was hung he had to wonder.

The trial he had sat out on so he had no idea, but it was quite obvious that he was considered guilty if he was getting hung. Well, actually... like he would get anything but guilty. After all, he was a bandit. And man was that hilarious. Well, for him. Probably not for the man up there.

He glanced back to see that Caballo and Peanut were in place, and then over to where he saw his brother. Okay, good. Now... where was Kanda? The woman who was going to be their distraction. Fay turned and started heading a little back towards where he had thought to see the woman. Okay... he needed that damn sword of his.

((OOC: I forgot how we were supposed to do this so here's something pulled out of my ass... enjoy.))

Yeah, well, said swordsman-turned-woman was cursing the dress under his breath as he made his way through the crowd, trying to keep his expression schooled and otherwise non-threatening, which was exactly how he was feeling at the moment. He, too, had refused to attend the trial, not wanting to be seen in public any more than necessary with this thing on (and his hair-- dear god, his hair, it was mutilated).

He managed to keep Fay within sights, despite the other's disguise, and made a small grunt when the bandit started looking for someone - most likely himself. He only got a brief once over of the plan and decided to stay near the bandit because, hey, if he messed up, at least he wouldn't be the only one to suffer.

"Tch. Now what?"

Kurogane was pushed to stand in the middle of the platform on the trap door. The door flexed under his weight like it would give way if Kurogane sneezed. The bounty hunter, or ex-bounty hunter scowled at the crowd around him. He hated it when people stared at him and knowing they were staring to watch him die was extra sick. He started scanning for blond. Yuui would probably stay at the edge like he had at Fay's hanging. Kurogane sighed when he didn't see the barkeep. Good. At least if Kurogane didn't find a way--

He spotted Yuui in the middle of the crowd and stared. Why would he...? Unless. Kurogane forced his eyes away as the sheriff started in with the little speech about why they were here today. Like everyone didn't know. Kurogane looked over the rest of the crowd, trying to spot Fay or Kanda. He couldn't see them leaving Yuui unless there was something going on. Kurogane hoped there was. It was hard to think of anything when your hands were tied and the whole fucking town was staring at you.

((OOC: I think it was get Kanda in ( ... )
