What I did on my winter vacation
Well, in an effort to get some of these DVDs off my plate before the start of the Big Niner Babylon 5 Marathon, I sat on my ass most of the weekend and watched scifi on my 60-inch HDTV. Woohoo!
This past weekend I watched 5 episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (which puts me into the first few episodes of season 6) and about 12 episodes of The X-Files, which puts me several episodes into season 8.
For the past year, I've been working on watching these two shows from the beginning...along with Sex and the City (finished earlier this year), Homicide, Life on the Street (I'm into season 5 or 6 with that show, so limited success there) and The Sopranos (I'm almost done - have about 5 more episodes to watch.
I doubt I can finish Buffy or The X-Files before the B5 Marathon starts at the beginning of the year...but I do have another 4-day weekend coming up, and so I might be able to get through seasons 6 and 8, respectively. Then I'll only have one season of each to go.
Well, plus all of Angel, that is. :P
And Atlantis. *rolleyes*
