So it's been a while since I've posted anything, and I just got in my latest box of stuff from SMJ, so I figured I'd show off what I picked up over the last couple of months from both Y!J, locally, and from the community
Lol, doesn't it look like Red is blowing off Brendan?
Warning: Lots of pics
Ok, not strictly collectibles here, but I do have these on tape, so I figured I'd share them up for the nostalgia factor since these are ANCIENT video clips.
First off, the Pokemon Center in Rockerfeller Center. I think this started airring on TV right after they opened it up.
Nestle Wonderball.
Ok, now onto my new collections stuff.
3 new plush toy come into my collection which pretty much increases my numbers by a third.
TFG figures. I'll probably repaint Brendan (Ruby) to the correct colours at some point if I ever buy some red paint.
Lions Get. Shinxs Zukan was somewhat expensive, but I suppose that was to be expected since there's no Euro counterpart that's flooding the market.
It's Pikachu. It's not your every day garden variety either. These are chopstick holder rest Pikachu. I haven't opened them up yet, but they appear to be made of porcelain or something similar.
Cowboy Pikachu the mini-mug. I wonder if they design these specifically to be decorations? They're certainlly small enough that I can't really see them being used for very many practicle applications.
DP cookie can (Shaymin). Comes equipped with 7 cookies each individually wrapped inside a larger sealed bag.
A large volume doujin (large as in it features more than 50 pages). Features multiple stories that feature characters from both the TV series as well as the Pokemon Special manga.
Assorted facecloths (used, washed), part of a bulk auction I ended up winning for quite a low value. Most of the fabric stuff has names written on it in sharpie somewhere.
Dishcloth sized towels. These ones are more loved as they're actually starting to fade.
Some assorted drawstring pouches (front and back)
Shaymin lunch pail. Conveniantly holds all the towels and bags when they're folded up.
Some sort of pokemon listing poster? Not sure exactly. Came with a ton of stickers.
Pokemon backpack. It's very small. I've put a volume of japanese manga next to it as a comparisson of size.
Another backpack. This is in the style of the one Ash wears in DP. Also pictured is a plastic cup with Digala on top.
A large pikachu keychainish thing, and I have no idea what the other pokeball is actually. If you turn it on and press the button it starts flashing and making noise before selecting one of the values.
Based on the text and how things are laid out, I'm assumng this is a pokemon edition map of one of the Japanese Railway System maps. It's not made of paper, it's some sort of woven plasticky fiber.
A few more figures.
Just a couple of posters I picked up years ago. Was visiting the Calgary Stampede since we were visiting relatives and the Nintendo van was parked in one of the buildings and they were handing out posters and giving away prizes.
Not really a poster since it's double sided, it's about the size of a normal sheet of paper.
$3 Tiwanese bootleg poster I picked up quite a while ago from one of the local stores in my area.
Not pictured (probably be in my next update whenever I get more stuff), Pokemon Buildables Collection: Riolu, Shinx, Bidoof, Chimchar figures. Pokemon Collection Deoxys: Jirachi figure. Pokemon Collection Legenday Bird Pokemon: Roselia figure.
There's a store in my area that has a small coin vending machine that's loaded with an assortment of pokemon sets that I've been sticking cash into every once in a while.
I'm thinking I should probably apply for sales permission soon, I'm starting to get backlogged with stuff that I don't really want (excess Zukan duplicates, some of the towels/bags from this post, a few things from some of my previous posts of which I have duplicates). Too bad Canada Post actually needs to be funding independant from the government and has to charge an arm and a leg for shipping (compared to the US or Europe), at least I don't have it off as bad as Australia which from what I can tell charges even more than Canada does.
