Zukan Collection Update (P2)
Hiya everyone!
My last update had taken over eight years to make, this time it's only a few months later :p
I got quite a few zukans I'd been wanting for long time, such as Regice and Metwo :o As well as a bunch of other cool ones!
Here's a little preview, and the rest is under the cut.

On we go then. Just categorized on date released, rather than fancy categories like last time.
Wasn't a fan of either these pokemon, nor this zukan, till I saw it for sale xD Now I think it's really quite neat, and it goes well with my subcollection of all bird zukans.
I consider these to be birds, and hence I want them especially for my bird sub collection. I also really started liking these two after catching so many of em in Pokemon GO. They just look so soft and kind. Andd I got two shinies of em! One in Omega Ruby, and one in GO. Since they're golden (read yellow) I aptly named them SwaYello~
In the last post I mentioned how I didn't have 'the cooler' Regice yet.. now I do! Really like how it's transparant, and how it has a cool ice base.. pun not intended.
Another one I wanted for a while! I remember when DPSP2 came out, with the shiny beasts, and Celebi, too. I was excited about finally being able to get this cool zukan, only to find it to have weirdly saturated colours. Don't get me wrong, I like that one too, but this one just looks a bit better I think. Looks more like Ilex Forest too.
Funnily enough, I've been rewatching the pokemon movies lately, and the day I'd arrived at the 8th movie, the package with this in it had arrived. Very interesting to see the zukan version of the castle.
I do wonder though.. zukans are supposed to be scale models, all pokemon are scale 1/40. But then what is this castle..? A castle that's 2 meters tall? How does that work?
Mewtwo! With both the night Mew and this Metwo, I now allmost have all Gen 1 legendary zukans. Only the day castle Mew is missing. I wanted this one for a long long time too. It's also really heavy :o
The Sinnoh starters! I never really liked this zukan, cause compared to the trees from the GSC sets, it's a bit plain. But then a while ago I saw a higher res pic of this online, and I started to really like it, and wanted one for myself! Now I love it!
When waiting for the Regice and such to arrive at the proxy service, I found the whole of BW2 for a really cheap price, like, I think the Regice alone was more expensive than this whole set, and even the Regice was a steal already compared to some of the other prices I've seen it have. I'm not a huge fan of the Unova starters, but Snivy's line is alright.
More birds! I like birds~
I'm really quite amazed how they made Drillbur fit in there :o He still has its actual feet too! These are basically Diglett and Dugtrio.
This is a case where I don't really like the pokemon that much, but the zukan looks rather amazing :o The layout makes me think of the Chansy zukan from the DP set, and the Slowpoke Zukan too. Almost doesn't fit on the base!
The coffee pokemon. I like the special base.
There's two Reshiram Zukans (and two merged with Kyurem, and a clear one, but okay): the boring one from BW1 that constantly falls apart when you pick up and is generally just a pain to move around... and then there's this absolute majestic BEAST! THIS is what Reshiram is like. The pose is straight out of the most epic part of the BW games! I'm so glad they redeemed Reshiram by giving it this action pose zukan. In general, the über mascotte legendaries tend to get two zukans, one fairly boring in a standard pose, and then a 2nd one with a much more interesting pose. It works.
Yeah, and there's these three.
W.where's the other two? Why only Heidreigon? :< Still, that looks beastly, and great.
I mean.. what's there is nice, but it ain't a whole lot. Fun fact: I used to think that this was an evolution of the Unown xD
If it wasn't clear yet, I really like special diorama zukans. I now have alllmost all trees. The only one missing is the one with the all the Eeveelutions I believe. I find this to be pretty interesting, as it's the only nature base zukan, that shows signs of people (the road). I think that fits so well with the theme of Unova, where everything is developped. I'm not really sure why Shraggy is there though. Probably because of the movie which I haven't seen yet, but oh well.
The main three swords of Justice! I like their theme, but the concept I find just sort of meh. I do love Cobalion's design though.
