So many questions and things to talk about in one post

Good morning everyone! I have several questions regarding different plush, particularly Sylveon and Alolan Vulpix that I don’t own. My wallet is still technically recovering from the holidays so I won’t be jumping to buy anything yet, but I’d still like to gather information to prioritize plush that I’m considering to add to my wish list. Anyway, onto the questions-

Regarding Sylveon, this is for the Poke Plush, 2014 Poke Doll (aka the 1st Sylveon Poke Doll), PokePalre, and Trick Pose plush. Are the colored portions of their feelers painted on, or are they fabric? On the day I got my current, small group of Sylveon plush I noticed that the colored parts of their feelers were quite different. Sleeping Sylveon’s feelers aren’t painted (I think? At least they don’t feel that way to me) whereas I do believe my Kuttaris and Pokemon Doll (2nd Poke Doll version) have painted feelers. However, the Kuttaris have much better paint, the Pokemon Doll’s paint looks a bit messy and is cracking some. It’s sort of annoying and I’m considering to get another one later and hope for better paint ;;

Alolan Vulpix questions get separated since I have different questions for each plush. First, does the Dessert Plate Alolan Vulpix Plush Mascot stand on its own or does it need to lean on something? It won’t bother me if it doesn’t as I am probably going to hang it up whenever I get one anyway, but it’s still something I am curious about. Also, is the demand for these high? I’m worried that by the time my wallet actually does recover that they’d become rare. I’m not sure if I should just get one now while they’re still cheap or if it’s safe to wait.

This one’s for the 2016 Takara Tomy Alolan Vulpix Plush. I was on the fence about getting one of these a few months ago and ended up putting it lower on my priorities. But since I’ve pretty much got all my other wish list plush out of the way before 2017 ended, I’ve taken interest in it again. What I’d like to know is, is this plush pretty solid or is it floppy like the 1:1 plush? Also, is this plush at risk for broken neck/floppy head syndrome? I ask this because I ordered a Takara Tomy Fennekin Plush a while back (even though I already had the Tomy International version) and was very disappointed when I found that its head would tilt backward. I’m unsure if this was due to rough packaging or if these plush were just made that way because I see a lot of Takara Tomy Fennekin Plush photos with tilting heads. If that’s the case with the Alolan Vulpix then I’d rather remove it from my wish list, though that low price on Hobby Link Japan is tempting…

Lastly, about the 1:1 Alolan Vulpix… I am really kicking myself for not pre-ordering this when so many opportunities were available to do so. Like the regular Takara Tomy plush, I was also on the fence about the 1:1. The front limbs in stock photos made the plush look awkward to me. But then people finally got their 1:1s and started posting photos of them, and I realized just how floppy and cuddle-friendly the 1:1s are. And the bonus of being able to untie the hangtags for safe keeping! So yeah, really kicking myself here LOL. Anyway, I remember someone posting a link to Hobby Link Japan when they had the 1:1 in stock. Of course the 1:1’s status is discontinued now, but I’d like to know if anyone familiar with this site knows if HLJ is known to restock items that are listed as discontinued. Because I would love to jump at the next restock and have been checking their page almost daily hoping for a restock. I don’t expect to see any other 1:1s being sold at their generous price range, so I am going to have a limit as to how much I spend on this plush whenever I can. Currently I am watching over the Pokevault site… there are only 4 available on there right now. Are there any other online stores that are known for legitimate merch that have these in stock at the moment? I would like to bookmark all of them for when I am ready to get one.

That’s all for now!
