Hi there!
I've spent some time re-arranging my collection and keeping everything up to date. I also noticed that's I've been a member in this lovely community for almost 3 years (2 years and 9 months, to be precise). So now it's time for a collection update! For those of you who don't know me, I focus on collecting the Salamence line, Rayquaza, Rattata and Raticate. I love dragons in general and also rodents.
This is what my main collections looked like when I joined here:
And this is how it has grown until now :D (Warning: Image-heavy)
This is how I display things:
My glass cabinet. I own all the different Salamence plushies. Recently, I was able to add 3 big and rare Rayquaza plushies to my collection (a DX Pokédoll, an Ichiban Kuji plush and a Banpresto puppet plush), so this section is almost complete. I'm only missing one more official Rayquaza plush. One that is so rare I'll probably never be able to get anyway ^^.
Closeups of the Pokémon related parts of the cabinet:
The top shelf serves as a natural habitat for a Salamence Pokédoll, a Salamence UFO catcher plush, a Rayquaza Tomy Recall plush, a Rayquaza hand puppet and a Rayquaza Banpresto lottery (= Ichiban Kuji) plush. Those two in the background are so big, it's amazing.
The plushies in this shelf enjoy cuddling together! At least I hope so. The Shelgon Pokédoll and the crocheted Salamence are custom plushies, the rest official ones. I had a hard time fitting everyone into there together, but I managed it. :)
The bottom shelf is occupied by the massive shiny Mega Metagross plush. At least, there's some space for future purchases left. ^^
The rest of the plushies and a few figures are on the left of the glass cabinet. The Rayquaza plushies have wire in them, but not bending them too much seems like a good idea to me. They are really long and impressive! I also like how shiny Raychu is hiding behind the Salamence.
Below, I display a good part of my figure collection. Due to space limits, some are in storage. Same goes for flat or misc items. This is what the display currently looks like. I rotate some figures every now and then.
For the sake of a photo, I assembled the rest of the figures as well. This was the outcome ^^ Too many items in one place! I want more space XD
My Rattata and Raticate collection is located in a diffent shelf. I'm only displaying figures and a few other items; the flat and misc items are kept in binders and boxes ^^ Same goes for my flat and misc dragon items.
Hope you guys enjoyed looking at my collection. ^^
