Pokemon appreciation project part 1 and an apology
Hello everyone. First I want to say thanks for not banning me or leaving nasty comments cause I was definitely annoying in my previous posts and I'm sorry about that. Grad school is really stressful and I kind it got in my head that if "I just got this one thing, I would be fine" but I've lost sight of why I was collecting to begin so I want to go back over my collection and either tell a story about them or describe why I like them.
these 2 were the first ones I bought and they started this whole adventure. I used to carry them around on my backpack all the time and they definitely got me some compliments. they were fairly cheap when I got them but now they seem to be fairly rare. I especially love that gardevior is larger than gallade. (banpresto pokemon type key chain)
I also really love the "hairstyle" of this plush. It reminds me of NiGHTS.
This guy was nice because I got him for only $5 just because he didn't have his additional tag (I'm seeing him for as much as $50 with his tag). (banpresto ufo prize)
This kirlia doesnt sit nearly as nice (she just doesn't have gallade's child bearing hips)
her back has a weird medical gown quality (I suppose to allow her to sit more easily though ironically I think she would be better with something extra to prop her up in the back)
This Kirlia is really nice because it so closely follows the proportions of the actual pokemon (even though he has absolutely no way to support)
The megas I have ware really interesting in there design because the dress is actually a separate piece that is sewn on
when you look underneath you really see how thin and insubstantial her body actually is without the dress. I think would like to get an additional used plush to take the dress off.
so thats what I have for my first part. hopefully have a second part up soon.
