Japanese Pokemon Game Get! & Updated Sales
Since I'm finally on spring break, I've been doing some spring cleaning and found a bag of old Pokemon clothes that was sitting in storage! A few of the shirts are still brand new with tags but there are some used clothes that some of you might be interested in. Most of them are children's sizes though unfortunately. I've added them and a few other items to my permanent sales post, so feel free to check them out if you're interested.

It's the Japanese version of Hey You, Pikachu!
The package came with everything shown here including the game, instruction booklets, VRS unit, mic, and the original box. It actually came with everything from the original package except for the yellow ball that sits on the mic. (I have mine in a box somewhere, so it's not a big deal. It gets dirty easily anyway. :P)

It even comes with a map of the areas that you can explore in the game! I really like this piece. ^^
Here's a comparison of the Japanese game and the US version. The box is much smaller in comparison because it doesn't come with much.
What I really like about the Japanese version is it not only comes with the plastic thing that you can stick on the back of your controller to hold your mic in place, but it also comes with a headset since the plastic thing breaks easily.
Here I am getting ready to help Pikachu raise some Caterpie! All of them evolved before Butterfree arrived. :D
I really wanted to get the Japanese version to have some fun way to practice my Japanese reading and speaking since I live in an area that has very little diversity. What I like about this game too is that Pikachu seems to listen to my Japanese commands better than my English ones in the US version. XD I still haven't figured out why yet, but it makes the experience with Pikachu a lot less frustrating, haha! I'm also enjoying seeing the differences in this game versus the US game. For example, there are a pair of shoes outside of your room which don't exist in the US version and when your character talks, the writing looks a little sloppy like it was written by a child. (I thought that was a good way to make the game feel personal to little kids.) It was a pleasant surprise to see different types of ingredients and flowers that were different from the US version too such as eggplants and different colored flowers. Overall, I'm glad I got the game. It's quite a fun experience! :D
