Hello everyone! I come bearing a VERY image-heavy Vulpix and others collection update. :D I have also moved my "official" collection pictures to
THIS POST on my personal journal, so anyone looking for a good reference for Vulpix items can feel free to browse and/or use my pictures for their wants list.
Here's a very small preview of what this post entails, including some very unique film pieces from a Pokemon movie!
These are actual pieces of film that were used to make the Pokemon movies. This piece above features Vulpix, Eevee, Clefairy, and Hoot Hoot. You can only see the image clearly when you hold it up to the light, as it's a piece of film and otherwise just looks dark brown! I got them from a seller in Greece, who purchased them from Mandarake's auction site in Japan! So these guys have literally been around the world. XD
Another piece featuring Vulpix and several others.
Some postcards featuring old-school art. Including Vulpix! <3
Another one! <3
An old-school pencil case featuring Vulpix, among many others.
A large (and very sturdy!) Pokemon Center bag featuring Vulpix. The card there is for size reference. It's huge!
Close-up of the images. Also features Hoppip, Cyndaquil, Charmander, and Ledyba! I feel like Ledyba and Hoppip are a little out of place on this very fire Pokemon bag...
Very rare Korean pin badge! I got this off eBay from a seller who was kind enough to separate Vulpix from the rest of the set.
Houndour Mechanical Penicl! I had the Pichu Brothers and Pikachu pencils that went with this set, but I can't seem to find them right now. :(
Vulpix wap from Europe!
pupstergirl was kind enough to offer as middleman for the wap lot since the seller did not ship to the US. Thank you, PG! :)
The dog tags and Vulpix video game cartidge from Burger King!
Umbreon Pokemon Time strap, as well as a few Goomy charms/straps from the most recent promo, and Quagsire and Hoot Hoot swing keychains from the GA we just received. :) They'll be going up on my corkboard soon.
I also decided to keep the Forretress, since no one had bid on or requested him in the official extras post, and since I do collect Pineco, it seemed fitting to keep his evolution too. :)
I managed to get these two lovely canvas plush for only 5000 yen for the set on Y!J. :D I was very excited. They do have their tags, but they are both sun-faded and water damaged. I will probably just remove them eventually. The plush are in excellent shape, however. Not sure how the tags got so damaged without the plush getting damaged as well. o_o
Hanafuda pins from tortoises! :D Featuring some of my favorite Pokemon. I also got the Pokemon Cafe secret button. <3
The Chikorita Pokemon Mini strap, and several new Johto-era stampers, including Quilava, Pichu in two different colored bases, and Aipom!
All of my mini straps together! So far I have Chikorita, Wooper, and Umbreon. I'd love to get the Pichu, too!
I've had several of these Christmas cards since my first year of collecting, but I only just found them recently. They had been at my parent's house! Since I am sorting out my flat's collection, I thought I'd take a picture.
These are a few updated pictures for my collection page. I included the restudan stamp here.
Pokemikke items!
I believe I've posted about most of these before, but they are also updated collection photos.
Vulpix clock from the UK. Another member posted a silver version saying she found it in a souvenir shop in London, so I imediately began scouring ebay.co.uk for one. I managed to find this one under a listing for "cartoon fox mini clock," haha. I have no idea if it's official or not (I would assume it's at least some sort of licensed product due to the very clean cast and image of Vulpix) and the only marking on it is the maker, Geneva. If anyone knows more about the clock or if there were more Pokemon made in this line, I would be very interested!
The back of the clock.
Several new Brock items to show off, including the Prototype V Trainer, and in-package sets of the Gym Badge and Brock/Takeshi's Pokemon charms/pins.
Updated picture of my Vulpix clearfiles. :D
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon stickers
My complete Vulpix TCG Collection:
Close-up of the newest Vulpix card! It's the same card technically as the previous one, but it's a promo version with different artwork. :D
Vulpix pan stickers (I believe I have them all!)
Random Vulpix cards (and one Flareon, haha)
The backs of said cards
Some random flats
A portfolio with the same design as a few of the pass cases I have. I didn't know if the porfolio had Vulpix on it or not due to the fact that most of the time, you just see the front. But as you can see from my photo of the back, she is indeed on it. :)
Poke mikke clearfiles! I managed to get all of these while in Japan.
And this cup is in my cabinet as opposed to my collection. XD But it's a great cup!
I've posted about my custom Sugarstich Vulpix pokedoll + Rawst berry before, but again, I thought I'd include them since I took photos for my collection page. Also in the picture is the Pokebox charm.
New Hoenn Pokemon gets! Skitty Pokedoll and Poocheyena banpresto. I need to cut his tag off, it's giant and right in the way. D:
I recently got a Gizamimi Pichu pokedoll, so now I have all three variants! Tufty Pichu, his little brother, and Gizamimi!
Custom laying Vulpix by
serenitysama!
I also have the shiny Houndour she made. :) He's so cute, and looks great with Vulpix.
Side view!
My boyfriend's favorite Pokemon is Weezing, so I've started to collect a few things for him. Here you can see the TFG (which is just an AWESOME figure) along with my shiny Rosalia kid figure. Rosalia was the first shiny I ever caught, so I just had to track down the kid figure. :)
I also managed to get the Weezing line zukan! Sadly Weezing's peg was broken off in the base when I got it, so I traded bases with my Raichu line (since it also has two holes and only Raichu needs a peg). Weezing "floats" a little lower due to the missing piece of his peg, but it still lights very lovely.
Unfortunately, there's no room for him yet! I need to hang up another shelf. @_@
And here's where the majority of my "displayed" collection lives. I keep most figures/straps/everything else in boxes. I don't like to display a whole lot of my collection, since I like things to look clean and tidy around the apartment. But I can't help displaying most of my plush!
I also couldn't resist grabbing one of the Pikazard music boxes. I don't regret the purchase at all. It's a darling figure and the music box tone of the Pokemon Center theme is just so special.
I also have an amiibo collection, but the only Pokemon one I have on display is Pikachu! I do have Lucario, just not as big of a fan, so he's still in his box. XD (Also, don't judge me. >_> I like the show Frasier.)
WHEW! If you made it through the whole post, kudos to you! ^_^ Thanks for looking!
