I also noticed you lived in Santa Cruz - my parents live just up north an hour in San Jose. :D
Would you be interested in meeting up at some point? I visit every 4 months or so, and I know that jodie (from this community) lives there, as well as Cyril (the guy who makes those amazing gym badges!). Let me know~

& Yeaah I recently found out that paperoid also goes to UCSC & she's told me that she met up with jodie & inkyfish. :D So a meetup somewhere in the South Bay would be exciting!
