With that, another journal entry.
I am trying to make a habit out of posting one a day, if not a few paragraphs then a few simple sentences.
Today, I'll focus on another dream I had; this one focus on a femaleish type creature called a "Humaniore." These were humanequse creatures which were well in tuned with the earth (Think, Avatar-BOTH, Mushishi) They could control the elements through dance, music, art, even with their thoughts. Despite all these powers, they were considered third rate humans. And were looked down upon and seen mainly as 'tools.' than recruited/forced help. They were humble creatures who rarely spoke.
A city or town had a choice, to have all femaleish or Malish Humanior, for both were not allowed to mix (they were quite hamonious amongst the other 'gender' )and sometimes,upon meeting, the two would interlude and become one, twisting and twirling, their bodies would morph into a grand tree, its height would reflect their love for one another and the earth.
Anywho, in my dream, these creatures were being killed off, one of them "Sasche" was smuggled out of the mainland, she was to be sent to the Kingdom in the East. One, which has lost all its greenery to Metal and Steam.
One scene in particular, which I thought was fantastic (and beautiful) We (the Caravan, and apparently Sasche- 1ft person view though)
It was night, the landscape was dimly lit by these strange spirited lanterns. (they floated about with a light and whimsical tune, one which could only be heard by those who wished to listen. ) We were all stationed in this large tint made of glass and clothe (I believe thats what it was) the ground was damp, since a water type creature seemed to come through those parts occasional. However, the Caravan did not know this, Sasche did, and tried to warn them earlier in the day.
While resting around the fire, I had heard that a few of the caravan people had gone hunting. Unfortunately, they tried to hunt the water creature (Though its of water, it has a gelatinous meat, known to cure almost all illneses even promote a longer life. Killing it/capturing it, is near impossible) Before I knew it, people were running and panicking, the water levels began to rise at an alarming rate. I remember seeing the water simply cover our Glass tent (none got in) and people floating about in the body of this water creature. The lanterns were also captured about in the creature which gave it luminous spots.
And there, Sache had a choice; to let her captures die a slow and suffocating death. Or to save them from the creature. Her choice was simple. I wish I could replicate the melody that which passed through her lips. It was beautiful and enchanting allmost not of this earth, but had a harmony to it. The water quickly subsided, the captures were free but not happi. One of them had ran up on Sashe and flogged her knocking her out. I don't remember seeing anything else, but one thing I did know.
The water creature had returned and Sasche lived.
