This week is dragging. And I'm jealous of Mom, who is going to start taking vacation days every Thursday, so she will only be working 3-day weeks (but still gets paid for 5) for the next month or so. Kittens came through surgery fine. I had them home by 4, and except for some exhaustive bathing (that included lots of licking the surgery area, which made me nervous), they were still groggy enough that they slept most of the day/night. About a week after the boys were adopted, I emailed the girl to say hi and send her some pictures from when they were younger. I didn't want to seem pushy or anything, but I figured I kept it casual enough that it wouldn't be a big deal. The kittens had their second vet appointment today. This one was much less traumatic than the first, I think. They still don't like it, and they hate being shoved into a carrier and driven around, but the appointment itself was quick. He weighed them both (Princess gained 0.9 pounds, Buffy 1.1.
