Meme: 30 Days of TV
I've seen this on my f-list and thought I'd give it a shot. I post here so rarely these days, maybe it'll give me a reason to post more often again. :) And I do love TV.
So, Day 1: A show that should never have been canceled
There are a lot of shows out there that get canned too soon. I know the popular choice is "Firefly," but even though I liked that show, I wasn't over the moon about it, so it didn't upset me as much as it did others. There are a lot of shows that get pulled in their first season that I think show more promise and should be given a chance, but most don't really jump out at me right now. I'm torn between two memorable ones, and one is kind of embarrassing. :)
My real choice: "My So-Called Life." I loved that show, and it's a crime they didn't give it another season, or at least did a movie to wrap up the cliffhanger season finale. Ugh. So annoyed at that one.
And the embarrassing one: "Tarzan," which was on the WB a while back for less than a season. I know, it was a little cheesy, but I liked it, and was bummed when they yanked it. I was probably the only one. (Okay, so I mostly liked it because I thought Travis Fimmel was hot. I'm shallow that way.)
Oh, and another one that's stuck with me, even though it was just a game show: "The Rich List." They only aired one episode, but I actually really liked it. It was a different concept, and it was interesting. Oh well.
