"Working"
So I have my portoable HD at work because I store .avi clips on it for editing. It also has my music collection. All 60-some-odd hours of it.
So some days, I throw on the headphoens and as I'm prepping news stories to go on wickedlocal, I put on some tunes. Well one of the tunes I put on today, was from the River Rave compilation CD.
I picked it up, because before it went belly-up, I was a big supporter of the River Rave and some of the performances I went to we celebrated on the cd.
Including Live's "Lighting Crashes." There's a part where Ed asks the crowd to help him out.
And I like to pretend that I can hear my voice from the back of the Tweeter Center, screaming the lyrics. My hands above my head clapping. My eyes clenched, my throat hurting from screaming through the last four hours of music.
Hopping up and down in synch wit guitar riffs and bass lines. Shaking my head back forth, as if I'm on stage with Ed, singing "I can feeeeeeel iiiiiiit."
