My costume
So i've been persuaded to goto an anime convention at the end of the month and dress up as a character. I've chosen Nyu from "Elfen Leid".

The costume is a little odd. She wears a red tank top with a 1/2 sleeve pink turtle neck under it, an orange skirt, blueish boots, and a green hat (to hide her little horns), as well as having bright pink hair.
Today i was quite excited because when shopping at Ross with the idea of finding a white skirt and dying it orange, i found an orange skirt! For $7! I had given up on the idea of finding one! that saves me the trouble of dying one or constructing my own. I still need to put white stripes on it, but my work is much simplified! I also found blue boots! I really didnt think i would ever find them, but i could only find one right or left of two different blue boots. So i couldnt buy those, but i'm gonna look again later on this week, perhaps more will come in or they will find the matching ones. there cant be too many people buying bright blue boots!

-Orange skirt (still in need of stripes)
-pink turtleneck (still in need of shortening sleeves)
-red tank top
-pink wig (in transit from China, hopefully arriving soon)

-Green hat (i think i will have to sew out of it's oddness)
