I love sleeping in my own bed.

I love cuddling with kitties who like to be snuggled (or at least tolerate it).

I love my fish.

All in all, we had a great trip, had a lot of fun, got to spend time with the VA crew, saw lots of pretty sharks, and took lots of pictures.

But it's awesome to be home again. :D

So after a long hard morning at work (that started at 4:15 and didn't end until I got home after 8), I discovered that one of the cats (Becker) knocked over the trash and dragged garbage all over the kitchen floor.

Thank you, cat. That actually helps.

( And now, the antidote to the previous whiny post: )

I gave Becker a bath. He's been smelling odd and setting off my allergies for a while now, but I didn't have the drive to go through the epic battle that can sometimes be his bath until today. Emori is very strange. The other cats will inhale cat treats instead of eating their regular food. Especially Azzy. Emori won't. We've tried a number of different things, trying to figure out what she will and won't eat, and today I tried an experiment. I put a treat in the middle of her food ( Read more... )
