Hey! I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas~ I have some Christmas themed stories to put up in a few days (when we're allowed to) that I made for
hd_seasons. In the meantime, here's my stocking! Please read, the people who gave me presents knew exactly what I'd like! :)
In all, my Christmas wasn't that big, but it was cozy. My sister got me three Sing-a-ma-jigs (yes, I'm really three years old at heart), a couple notebooks, and a book, Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare. I didn't think I'd like this book, since the summary says that the main character, Tessa Grey, falls in love with two beautiful boys, Will and James... who will she choose?
That sounds familiar. But I swear, this isn't anything like Twilight, which I am greatly relieved for. For one thing, Tessa knows she's not pretty and is perfectly fine with it. The majority of the characters I've met so far (75 pages in out of about 450) all have some sort of flaw that Tessa observes rather bluntly and honestly, which again is somewhat refreshing. And there is ACTION and PLOT right from the get-go! I really do recommend it, and again I'm only 75 pages in!
Can I count this as a book for my goal of 25 for next year?
