Pregnant Women And Drinking
I've heard they say drinking a glass of wine here and there is acceptable during pregnancy, but how do you feel about this? How would you react to a pregnant person drinking a can of wine in front of you when you know she partied on a regular basis (I'm talking getting completely shit-faced wasted just about every night) before finding out she was pregnant? Would it make you wonder how much she is really still drinking behind closed doors? What if she then went on to talk about how once the baby comes she can get drunk when it goes to sleep? What if she drank a beer in front of you the next day and started talking about how as long as she's not drinking hard liquor a drink once in a while is okay as long as its not in excess? What is considered excess here? Is two days in a row really classified as "once in a while" ?? Am I crazy for thinking this person is too irresponsible to be a mother?
