I'm feeling much better now :)

Friday night was kind of calm, Mike and I and Liam were all fairly done in and Mike had been gone for a whole day and a half so I had missed him (wow that sounds pathetic) so I rented a comedy special (Ron White's "They Call Me Tater Salad"). I was worried Mike wouldn't get a lot of the humour since it's not JUST American, but southern as well, but he laughed almost as hard as I did. He also found it humorous that I slipped into my old accent for the duration of the evening. Apparently it's "cute."
We had pancakes for dinner, which were yummy as hell.

Saturday we finally got our act together around 1 and had lunch, then went with Liam to Moody Gardens. Mike bought us memberships for the year, being that this is our second trip in a month and obviously we're into spending time there (with and without Liam). We went to the rainforest pyramid, I fawned all over the white-nosed coatimundi and fed it cookies on the sly :) Then we went to the aquarium into our favorite little observatory and watched the sharks and narrated the fish thoughts. The thing I'm really learning with Michael is how to be myself (which I've discovered is an increasingly goofy person). I feel really comfortable around him and that's not really something I can say I've experienced on this level before. I always sort of kept this barrier of...uptightness, I guess...around myself. But it's way better when you can sing really badly at the top of your lungs in the car together while doing the white man's overbite in the passenger seat. I guess it's knowing that you can lose that goofiness and be..."romantic?"...when you want to. Then it was 3-D Imax, about the Great Barrier Reef, which of course Mike's got lots of thoughts on having been raised on it and all. We're supposed to go back in a couple weeks for the 3-D "Sharks" film. I'm enjoying the time we spend there immensely. Education is fun!!

Saturday night we were lame :) We came home and ate a little dinner and watched Adult Swim. Then we passed out cause we're old and married. Ha ha.

Sunday I had what can only be called a stroke of genius! Don't know if I mentioned that I had started collecting masks, but Mike bought me one while he was in New Orleans, and suggested takings pics with "just the mask." Then we decided to make our OWN masks. Long story short (and six masks later, and three veryyy long trips around town supply-shopping), my site will now be dedicated to pictures of me in the masks we make. We had a BLAST and our creative sides are so different. I look like a real artist out on the patio with my spray paint and my cut off stained jeans, paint smeared from here to there. I will also put our regular pictures up but have some pages dedicated specifically to our new outlet :) The goal is to make them from supplies collected from our different travels and take the pics in backgrounds around the world, which might be a little difficult cause people aren't always fond of nude chics out in public taking pictures with kinky masks on :) But I will find a way! The nudity was the only way to not detract from the beauty of the mask, I think you'll see what I mean better than I can explain it once I get things posted. I'm also making an effort to make masks that match certain jewelry I've acquired, so the mask/jewelry theme goes together well for the pics.

So that was Sunday. Oh, apparently the Patriots won the superbowl. So weird, last year I watched them win and this year I didn't even know who won until this morning . Things can change so much in a year. Unreal.
