It's odd, but since reading The Twilight Saga back in July of '08 I have been unable to find a book that grabs me in such a way where I stay up late at night reading. I really liked 'The Host' and I guess that did pull me in, but not on the level the four books of Twilight did. Since reading The Host, which was my first attempt at reading a novel after The Twilight Saga I have read (or attempted to read) -
Just Ella - A take on Cinderella that I finished in one night, but was not too impressed with.
Ella Enchanted - My favorite children's book. I've read this countless times, so really it doesn't count.
Dead Until Dark - I got about 3/4 of the way through and just gave up. I could simply not force myself to read, because the author did not write in such a way to make me care a bit about Sookie or Bill.
Tithe - Although, a good friend recommended this to me and I do tend to like all that she reads, I just could not get past the first few chapters.
Twilight Director's Notebook - I bought this with some of my birthday money. Although, it was an enjoyable read, it was nonetheless nonfiction and about Twilight, so it does not count.
What a conundrum!
So, I have decided to reread The 'Harry Potter' series. It's been almost 2 years since I read 'Deathly Hallows' and who knows how long since I read the first book. I figure it's about time to revisit Hogwarts. I started 'The Sorcerer's Stone' last night.
