Yesterday I found out that one of my friends in the marching band's boyfriend died on Saturday. I was completely shocked! I had just met him a week ago and now he's gone! She is probably the sweetest, nicest, kindest girl you would ever meet. She doesn't deserve something like this. In her culture, they believe in always smiling and being happy and not showing when they are sad or mad. I know she is so sad, but she doesn't show it at all. He died because of a cocaine overdose. I had no idea he was into that kind of stuff and I don't even know if she knew. I really don't think it was suicide because a week ago they looked so happy together.

All I keep thinking about is...what if I was in her situation. I don't know what i'd do! She is a much stronger person than I am!
