I am currently listening to a recording of some Haydn sonatas which have actually been recorded on a fortepiano. This gives me a vain hope that what I am listening to has some degree of historical accuracy, but alas, the performer still seems to play the fortepiano as though it's a piano. Which it isn't, quite.
