the one with ten things
Ten Things on a Tuesday:
1. I have a ridiculously hilarious World Series Cricket replica shirt to wear to the cricket on Sunday. Got one for my brother too, so we shall be bogan together.
2. I had the rages today. MY SHOES SQUEAK. I WAS HUNGRY. I AM TIRED. AND SO FORTH.
3. My hair is mop-like but it's really cool if I'm walking and the wind hits from the right side because then the epic fringe is like, more epic because it flutters in the breeze. Yeah.
4. There is so much dust and noise on campus at the moment. AND YOU CANNOT WALK ANYWHERE DUE TO CONSTRUCTION. GNAH.
5. Went to the 20/20 last night with S. Ended up sitting with her friend Hamish as he had no one else there to talk to. He's a nice boy. Far too young for me of course. He's like, 19. O.o
6. EPIC CHERMSIDE TRIP YESTERDAY. But I did not buy anything! Success!
7. I sourced a copy of the special edition of Scottish Fiction: 1997-2007 from Europe because I reeeeeeeeally wanted the dvd that comes with it. And Australia is balls for that sort of awesome. A whole Idlewild gig! It'll be just like that time I saw them live! Or something! Roddy! Woomble! Possibly should arrive by March. LET'S HOPE SO.
8. Related to point 7, how disturbing is it to hear Roddy sing with an American accent on their earliest album/and mini album?? I went "GNAH. NO." And had to switch it off. He's got such a nice accent when he's not trying to mask the Scottishness. He was young then, I presume this is the reason why he wasn't okay at the time with using his own accent. But still. Ugh.
8.1. CAN I MARRY MR WOOMBLE ALREADY BUT HE'D HAVE TO HAVE HIS TEETH FIXED FIRST.
9. I realised yesterday that I am having a meeting with both of my supervisors the morning after the cricket on Sunday. I will a) most likely be over-tired, b) have heat-stroke, c) be grumpy and d) not care one bit about my research project. GOOD TIMES AHEAD, YO.

You know those days, when you just feel like saying "Okay everyone, I'm fabulous most of the time but right now I need to just be bollocks and you all leave me alone about it and don't point out that I'm not awesome 100% of the time because I just want to sit by myself and watch Top Gear and play guitar and warble some nonsense lyrics"? TODAY IS THAT DAY FOR ME.
