night before THE day
had a looooooong night at the office. i'm really glad KillerJock stayed with me. i think i made him too happy coz i finally got his recommendation letter for grad school signed by MotherHen. he's been waiting for her to sign it, but, being the busy hen that she is, the letter was not on the list of her "things to do yesterday". again, thanks to my undeniable charming ways, and my gift of gab, i got her to sign off on it. so i think KillerJock was too ecstatic to even mind. or was he just too polite? i don't really know. but i am glad he was there. it was fun...for me at least. even if there was something creepy going on in the office. or even if we skipped dinner...again. :(
i will be on medical leave starting tomorrow. i don't like what's going to happen tomorrow: hysteroscopy and d&c. i really hope it isn't as painful as i am imagining it to be. i have a very low threshold for pain, and anesthesia doesn't really work (i think i'm immune!). they'll keep me overnight in the hospital,and away from the office for a month. i've a lot of sorting out to do with my life. i just hope i could squeeze in all the sorting out in a few weeks.
i hope things turn out great tomorrow. say a little prayer for me. thanks.
