Faerie Con
So ...spent the weekend at the Faerie con event in P.A. Despite not feeling my best..I had a freaking blast.Haha Downtown Philly was crawling with Faeries!! We seemed to take over the town for 2 days. I wore my gown for the bad faeries ball..and my peach colored dress for the good faeries ball. Everyone was dressed in proper faerie fashion..hehe strutting their stuff.
Sat. we walked around the convention dropping loads of cash and chatting with some faerie artists.
I had a long chat with the artist Jasmine Becket-Griffith..she was really nice and very chatty, bought a print off her,she told me about a book that will be coming out next spring, a collaboration of some sort, a bunch of different artists who make faeries with big roundy heads!! How exciting.
I bought some new clothes, wings and a flower petal lamp thingy.
Friday night was the good faeries ball. I got to watch a preview of the movie The Spider chronicles based on the books. It looks freakin amazing!!! I can't wait to see it! Had a good time ..but my body wasn't cooperating with me.
Sunday night was the Bad faeries ball. I wasnt feeling too hot so we left kind of late.
Caught the last band playing and watched some of Labyrinth with an introduction from Brian Froud.
Michelle called Brian Froud over as he was walking by ..hehe
Damn she has balls!
Chatted with Brian for a bit..he wished me luck and thanked us for coming . He really is such a humble and kind man.
