swear to shake it up
I'm sure by now you've all heard the new Panic!(!!!) demo snippet. And all I can say is, HOW AWESOME IS IT, YOU GUYS?! It's very much awesome. This is the very reason why I fell in love with the band in the first place. The beats are bacccck! \o/
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Pretty. Odd. VERY MUCH. I admit that I wasn't into it the first time I heard it cos it was so NOT Panic! I thought it was just meh but I gave it a chance and ended up loving it A LOT. I really do. PO is seriously my happy place. I listen to it pretty much all the time, especially when I need some pick me up cos the whole album is so happy. But then again, it's not Panic!, you know? So I'm super glad that Brendon and Spencer are going back to their roots, complete with the exclamation mark and all. Not that the exclamation mark matters at all but I guess them bringing it back is to prove that the real Panic! is back or something like that. Cos that's how Panic! should sound like. That's what makes them different.
I'm just so so excited for the new album cos omg, Brendon's vocals and Spencer's drumming! As much as I love PO, I'm disappointed with Brendon's vocals on it cos he can do so much more with his voice. And Spencer's mad drumming skillz omg! His drumming was the reason why I totally fell in love with him the first time I saw Panic! online. SO HOT. And I kinda pity him a little cos the drumming in PO is so boring. It's like when Bob was asked which song is the hardest to play and he answered 'I Don't Love You'. LOL. So yay! I'm glad they are baccck!
And hey, we'd still be getting PO sounding music from Ryan and Jon so it's all good! Everyone gets to do what they like and we fans gets to have double the music! Maybe one day they'll go on tour together for old times sake and then they can sing their old songs together and it'll be AWESOME.
Anyway, I'm going to Japan in 3 WEEKS TIME OMG WTF WHEN THE HELL DID THAT HAPPEN?! Three weeks, you guys! I still remember when it was 3 months away! And me and the bff have yet to plan our itinerary! I'm panicking a little lol. Oh and Summer Sonic's timetable is out and oh god, MCR is the closing band for the first day. D: We'd be fucking dead by then, you guys. We need to come up with a strategy or something.
Back to hell tomorrow ugh. But we got our tickets for Harry Potter!! And we're going for karaoke before the show! So yay something to look forward to this week. \o/
ETA: I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT AISHWARYA RAI WAS IN MY HOSPITAL AND I TOTALLY WALKED PAST HER AT THE LIFT LOBBY HAHAHA. Damn, her ass is pretty awesome. LOL. And she's really pretty IRL, too. :)
