two public service announcements:

give an animal, trees, etc, to people in poverty for $10-$500+ dollars, depending on your own poverty level. mine cuts off around the $30 range, providing one hive of honey bees to a family... somewhere. Give it in the name of the person you need a present for. one of my friends once got the hind leg of a cow in her name from her sister. I could be wrong, but I'm sure she adored it. it's a project I've participated in with my church many times, and they have some offices and a farm ranchy thing here in arkansas. I milked a goat there once. I implore you
