ive just dropped off the fmla paperwork, along with the drivers license shit and the fax information for the appointment on the 3rd. she was out of the office so her nurse is dropping it off on her desk... im hoping she has it done by friday. if not, im going to call over there and try to get it finished by that afternoon, as i need to fax most of it and our hr department is closed on the weekends.
if it gets denied, i have no idea what im going to do... im trying not to worry about it and ive been with the company almost 5 years... my boss is really cool about working with me to make sure i can deal with all of these issues.
when i started there, i didnt have any absences and was never tardy (or left early) for a little over a year... then my health started slipping away... but then my work ethic started to slip as well. i need to bust my ass to get back to my former self. part of it, im sure, has to do with the fact that i have an expanded cable package and i spend way too much time on my ass at home. it makes me apathetic and provides something to do when im not at work. thats going to have to stop. i just tried to change it online but its not letting me... i better call before i go into work.
im going to start staying until we close on sunday.
