This is a series of tutorials which talks about the different tools and techniques for doing color corrections in Photoshop(or psp for that matter). Treat this more like a guide, well you can't treat it any other way.

In the example of when not to use colour balance what is the alternative - or is that still to come in the tutorial?

This is awesome. I can't wait for the tuts explaining levels, selective coloring, and curves. Curves especially mystify me!
