Tutorial #1 : Icon Tutorial : Vanessa Hudgens
Open up your image and crop it to 100x100:
Duplicate twice set the first layer to screen 63% and another to soft light 88%
Create a new layer fill with #000B33 to exclusion 100% then duplicate your base drag drop it to top of all layer set it to soft light 100%
Add this Texture (sorry don't remember who made it, if anyone knows please let me know so i could credit) set it to linear burn 100% erase the texture covering venessa.
Now carefully, using polygonal lasso Tool select just vanessa NOT the background.
Go to Edit>> Copy Merged >> Paste. Move it to left bottom conner and set it to lighten 100%
Make a new layer add this brush [By me] and select the face of vanessa with size 16x16, Go to Edit>> copy merged>>Paste and fit it into the brush.
Add this Scratch Texture by
toybirds erase the texture which is covering vanessa's face:
Add this text brush [By me]. Then Go to Layer >> Mergen Visible. And at the end take the sharpen tool then sharpen her lips, eyes. And there you got your icon ready! :-)
