I was kinda worried that 2008 would be a boring year for music, but it's shaping up to be pretty fun! So much good stuff and it's not even Korean! I'm not sure about the general staying power of the stuff I've been listening to though. I've been fucking up my school life lately, but hopefully I can turn it around. It's early yet in the semester. ( Read more... )

I miss youuuuu. We should really have a music-and-tea party when you're here, like you suggested before but like we never did. You can show me all the cool stuffs you're mentioned. And we should listen to Alopecia together because I think that would be like, monumental.
ALSO. Those videos. Like, oh dear. I was semi-freaking out. Lol he wore the blue sweat pants! Ah, takes me back. and yeah, Josiah sounds so much like Yoni. also, he is adorable. I read a review of Alopecia in some magazine and it got an 82% (which one does percentages? I don't remember) but the way the guy explained it I know it's going to be the kind of thing I'll really like. Continuous on the "Hollows" tone. I bet when their album comes out I'm going to be all obsessed with them again :(

P.S. I can't believe I never watched that cartoon because I really genuinely enjoyed it. The animation is so wonderful, especially. Also it seems very much like something you would like :D

I miss you too! I agree we should have a party. I pre-ordered the Alopecia LP and it should get home someday... plus DRAGON WARS and Bubble Tea and Pho or somethiing.
Those videos are sooo funky fresh. Josiah is too adorable. I love the ends when they show them playing shit. Alopecia will be amazing, I'm sure.
It's swell, right? The one after it (about the dot and the line) is good too. As is this. Yah.
I'm listening to TMSR and it is so fab. I kinda want them to release something. I kinda hope they "make it" and are accepted by the general indie public. Oui.
