Update for the last month

Gahh. I've been such a lame poster in the last month; just buy this and my site that. Lame.

Ten things from the last month that I was too lazy to post about but deserve mentioning.

1. Being stranded in a foreign county alone in the middle of the night for hours and hours with no way of communicating and no idea where to go is no fun, even in Stockholm.
2. Massage, relaxation, saunas and in the beautiful art noveau surroundings of Centralbadet can help heal a multitude of ailments.
3. Stonehenge is a lot, lot cooler than I was expecting it to be. I was dutifully impressed. Sometimes its good when overly ambitious visitors drag you places.
4. It really sucks when they decide to demolish three huge buildings across the canal from your flat. Dust and noise can really bring down the quality of your life when you work from home.
5. I have really had fun watching world cup games. Too bad every single team I was rooting for crashed. I guess that's why I always prefer the first round of matches...
6. I really, really think that the bits I've seen of the English country-side are lovely. I especially love how green and lush and flowery everything is. Should I annoy any English friends by using the word "quaint"?
7. I've taken a mini-step and I'm having 70 small bags produced. Hopefully it will be a good first step/learning experience in how to deal with contractors/etc.
8. It is really sad when a pair of 70-somethings can wear you out with their vigorous sightseeing... Time to get a gym membership. In addition drinking with your parents can be fun.
9. I was reminded how much I love having people over and entertaining... I must have parties...
10. I now understand why people complain of the heat in London. Its not at all hotter than Chicago in summer, it is just that they are very unprepared for this kind of weather. Homes and business have very poor ventilation, there few or no windows for creating cross-breezes, and air conditioning is very rare. I'm roasting at a Starbucks which I have come to in order to escape the heat/noise/dust of my flat.

And now for some fuzzy cuteness:
