MORE NOTES: signal boosting: stolen car with sentimental items in trunk
I'm on a FB list and this was posted. Please be on the look out:
"This is a long shot, but in case any of you notice my friend's car that was stolen.... 1997 Red Dodge Intrepid with COLORADO plates, can you notify me or the police? I feel awful, they parked in front of the place I am staying, they just moved back and all their kids' art work is in the trunk. On that note, if you see a pile of pampers boxes with cook books and dermatology books in them, along with a chicco hook-on high chair, kids art work, and some pillows on the side of the road/trashed somewhere.... we would totally appreciate the location so we can pick them up. Everything was in the trunk as the car was just shipped here. So sad!"

"I am house sitting in Point Breeze, which is where the car was stolen from (near frick mansions). I wonder if there is a way to notify the people who pick up trash, in case they see some really heavy books in pampers boxes. My friends could really use their books as they are still in training and the books that were in the trunk of the car (and likely trashed somewhere) are super expensive and the notes along with the books are priceless... Anyway, it sucks. Turns out they don't even have insurance to cover the loss. I feel just awful for them."
