Town car service?
I'm looking for recommendations for a town car service - not a limo - not a cab - but like a roomy sedan, typically a Lincoln Town Car although I'm not picky about the make/model.
I can use the yellow pages and just call up limo companies and ask, but I've had some real nasty experiences with limo companies in Pgh, and would prefer a personal, positive recommendation (indications to avoid certain places also welcome).
The service I need is perhaps a little unusual: I just want the car to sit there for most of a day and be available for short trips. If it were reasonable to get a cab on demand in this city, I might not even bother, but that's hopeless (and another rant entirely.)
Anyone have any suggestions? Companies to avoid? Thanks people!
Edit: Thanks to all for the input. After more research, I've found that the going rate for this type of service is MUCH more than I'm willing to pay, so I guess I'll just do any needed driving myself.
