Dogs in Mellon Park
I'm just full of questions this week, sorry.
Does anyone know what the official rules are about pets and leashes in Mellon Park? I thought it was a law that all pets had to remain on a leash in the park (since there are signs there that say so), but I always see tons of people with their dogs off-leash there. I've wanted to ask someone about it while I'm there but worried I'd seem like a jerk. I am really just curious. The park website didn't seem to have any info about off-leash rules in the park. But I have a very small (and nervous) dog, and get kind of irritated when dog owners who cannot control their unruly pets let them run off-leash through the park -- primarily because they chase my tiny dog and get her all freaked out. There are plenty of owners who seem to control their dogs just fine without a leash.
