Looking for a good seamstress
I will be in a wedding coming up on June 20 and I need to get my bridesmaid dress hemmed. I live in Edgewood and would really like to take it to someone nearby, or at least someone independent, rather than the whole way out to one of the David's Bridal shops or something like that. I live just a few blocks away from Regency Cleaners on Braddock, but am not sure how professional/timely etc. the seamstress there might be.
The dress looks like this. It's got two layers, as you can see, the top one being straight and the underneath layer being ruffled. If you know anyone who could take this on and have it done (and done well!) perhaps by the 12th of June, please let me know. I'm looking to spend around $50 (a bit more if necessary) if at all possible.
