Unscrupulus salespeople in Lawrenceville and Polish Hill

Today there's a post at blogski about unscrupulus alarm system salespeople going door-to-door in Lawrenceville and Polish Hill. The gist: If someone comes to your door trying to sell you a security system from APX or Pinnacle, be wary. And if they say they're from Apex Alarm, they're lying.

Based on comments, it sounds like these same (or similar) people have been making the rounds of Oakland, Mt. Washington, and (presumably) other city neighborhoods as well.
