Medical, Animal and General Supplies are needed and they still need large sized carriers!
In addition to a list released yesterday which requested large-sized rabbit and dog carriers
and newspapers, Wendy Evans, Shelter Manager of PSPCA has released a request for the
following needed supplies:
MEDICAL NEEDS
- IV Fluids
- 18 gauge needles
- antibiotics
- 60 cc syringes
- gauze pads
- tape
- latex gloves
- Trifectant solution
- Veterinarians near Clarion who are willing to donate their time
ANIMAL NEEDS
- Animal handling gloves
- Towels
- Litter pans
- Medium and large sized carriers
GENERAL NEEDS
- Hazmat Suits (they have gone through 150 already!)
- Monetary Donations
To donate directly to the fund to pay for the Tiger Ranch raid and for the medical care and
boarding of the seized cats, you can contact Rachel McCrystal, Director of Development, at
rmccrystal@pspca.org or (215) 426-6304 ext. 217. You can donate online by clicking here and
typing "Tiger Ranch" in the dedication field on the payment form. Donations will also be
accepted by mail. Write "Tiger Ranch Raid" on the envelope or the memo line of your check.
DROP OFF INFORMATION:
The public is asked to drop off supplies between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the
Clarion County Humane Society, located at 9562 Route 322 in Shippenville, Pa., 16254. Please
do not bring cat carriers; they are too small. Anyone with questions may call (814) 226-9192.
People in the Philadelphia area that are interested in helping may donate supplies to the
Headquarters located at 350 E. Erie Avenue in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19134. Supplies will
then be taken to Clarion.
