Are there any really good Jamaican restaurants around here? Nothing fancy, just damned good food.

There's Royal Caribbean, on S. Highland. although I am not a huge fan of hacked chicken I will put up with it for their jerk.

That's over in E. Liberty, right? If so, I think I saw it for the first time just a couple of days ago. Next to a bar, down the block from a Family Dollar?

Yep, it's in E. Liberty. I just looked it up.

I might have to hit that one. I grew up eating Jamaican food and I just watched Anthony Bourdain's Jamaica episode and I'm dying for some beef patties, jerk chicken, and rice & peas. Yum yum.

Kaya isn't strictly Jamaican ("Caribbean Islands, South America, the Pacific and beyond"), but I've never had a bad meal there; it's one of my favorite restaurants in the 'Burgh. (They also have a fantastic happy hour with half off their awesome mixed drinks.)

I saw their site, and they look too corporate to be the kind of food I want. Their menu looks really good, but it's not down and dirty enough for this craving...haha.

I can understand that... they aren't "upscale" or anything but they aren't exactly "down and dirty" either, if that's what you're looking for.
