This will probably be redundant for most of you, but for those who are unaware, the legendary Oakland nightspot known as The Upstage will be officially closing its doors forever on 12/31. Below is the itinerary of events between now and then to mark this sad occasion. Don't miss these opportunities to give The Upstage a proper send-off!

Ah...the old Upstage. My favorite hangout in my CMU days back in the late 80's/early 90's. Havent been there in over a decade, but it still saddens me to know it will be gone.

I visited Ceremony at The Upstage on both my visits to Pittsburgh and enjoyed myself thoroughly. I will miss it. RIP Upstage.

The friend who took me to Ceremony both times, incidentally, leaves for a semester of study in Tokyo five days after the club closes. I joke with him that they must have known he was leaving. :)
