Lemon lime and bitters, graduation and french
One needs 3 ingredients to make lemon lime and bitters. Sprite, Angustora Bitters and Lime Cordial. In Seychelles we have sprite. I went to Johanessburg to get Angustora Bitters. Now I am missing Lime Cordial, which I can't find in the bloody shop in Seychelles. This morning, my luck changed. I saw it in one shop. YAHHHH. The good news was that there was only one left, so I took it(lucky me). The bad news was that it was already expired! Breath in, breath out.
Apart from that there is not that much happening for me. I found somebody special at last, but there are a few bridges to cross before I can welcome her into my life, and subsequently announce her to the world. All I can say is that she has brought the belief that there is life after Sydney for me. I am very happy.
I called my graduation mates the other day. I heard that Natty had graduated. I wished I had gowned her myself, but I hope my mates had done the BEST job possible. Anything else is unacceptable. By now, Shanna, Rachael and all the other people I know had graduated. CONGRATULATIONS to you all! I hope I will be receiving my testamur VERY SOON, cause certain people here in the Seychelles are so stupid that they need to actually SEE my testamur to believe that I have finished uni.
At work everything is good. I participated with some african dudes to do some equipment calibration at the airport. I had to speak french. FRENCH. I suck at french. Haven't spoken it in more than 7 yrs, and was hoping I will never speak it again. Unfortunately I will need it in my job. Have to start practicing again.
