Last week and this week I have been analysing the possibility of activating the local youth club, MSYC, which I use to run before coming to Australia. The club is not doing much at the moment, and haven't done much recently either. I am now formalising a lot of the basic foundation of the club, and to try to find out whether people are still interested in making it work again. It is all good fun, for me, since it gives me something to do...since as you know, I am not doing very much nowadays.
I went to an informal job interview this week, at the seychelles civil aviation, at the airport for a job that doesn't exist. However, there is a possibility that a job can be created there, one which would require some skill in IT, Telecommunication and aviation. Yes aviation. How exciting! As all boys, I once wanted to be a pilot(and a soldier...and a bus driver! too), but decided not to because I will be away from my future wife and kids for too long. But now, I may have the chance to learn some things relating to aeroplane, whatever that could be. Of course, none of this is guarenteed, and I will see what happens in the next couple of days. As for the other jobs which I have been interviewed already, I haven't heard anything yet. I also got a call from SBC(the Seychelles TV station), so I will wait and see what's up with that.
Apart from that, I am trying to fix up a problem with MSYC members, since the group is now split in 2 from an unfortunate event which happened in September 2005. It is very sad that people cannot solve their own problem, and now I have no choice but to put my nose it and try to solve it, else it would complicate my dream of reigniting MSYC.
Anyway, Natty, please do not send any butter! ha ha ha. Things are always missing here in the Seychelles, but it is not permanent, since they do come at some point....just that they do not stay there ALL the time. For example, we now have butter, and I saw potatoes too....but last week there was no onions....but now it is back too. Thanks for the offer though. And why I am not surprise Sugendran offered to send some WINE!!!! u alcoholic bastard!
I am meeting more of my friends, and oh my god, around 80% of people I knew in primary school now has kids! I met most of them at a funeral I went to on Monday, where one of my friends mom had passed away. The local church looks so much smaller than I remembered. Maybe because of all those huge churches in Sydney....but wait, I haven't been to much churches in Sydney....oh well.
Anyway, I am off to read yet another Tom Clancy book, yah. This one is "Without Remorse".
