One of the ways Hitler assured popular political support, despite his party's rabid ideology, was through a progressive taxation plan.  For example:
  • The Nazi finance minister targeted the uppermost 4% of earners for a rate hike, 96% of the population enjoyed substantial tax cuts
  • Taxed windfall profits at 94%
  • Instituted a mandatory health insurance program
  • Seized personal pension savings for a nationalized pension plan
  • Vastly expanded family and child tax credits while transferring the tax burden to corporations
Some of these measure echo the rhetoric that brought a certain leader to power very recently.

Nothing overt implied.  Just saying...
